Description

Knitting Machine Weights An accessory for use with round knitting machines. Helps prevent dropped stitches and fabric ridges by maintaining even tension on the fabric as it exits the machine, and by preventing the fabric from pushing up off the pegs. Four weights are clipped onto the bottom of the fabric with enough grip to stay in place without damaging the stitches, and a fifth is used to hold the tails to add tension when adding or changing yarn.

Set includes 5 fully assembled weights made of
– plastic 2″ clips
– 1oz lead-free weight
– custom printed shell made from bio-degradeable PLA

To Use:
– clip onto yarn ends when starting a project and when changing colors
– evenly space 4 onto edge of project to keep weighted down without damaging the knitting
– works with all machine brands and sizes, use 2-5 weights as needed

I designed this product because I found that the claw clamps used on flat-bed knitters are too large and unwieldy for the small space of a round machine, and they come off as the fabric spins. I tried various types of office supply clips but they caught on the fabric. So I finally made my own, and I’ve enjoyed my knitting machine so much more now, and I’m excited to share this solution with you.
